My antiquarian books/antique books/old books series seems popular, based on downloads and what few comments I've had, so here's some more.
Robert Ainsworth's Latin dictionary in two volumes, published in 1752; leather-bound folio, approx 10.5" x 16" (260 x 400mm).
Close-up of part of a page. The "2 Y y y" is a signature mark: after a sheet of paper was printed on both sides it was folded, and then the folded "signatures" were sewn into the book. The signature mark helps the book binder to get them all in the right order.
